CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Officer Location: Based in Rabat

Development of city/regional specific Marketing mapping/plans to achieve and sustain increase in client portfolios.

Expanding corporate client portfolio and maintaining full relationships with existing media clients.

Planning and implementing marketing plans exclusively for MNM (Meciatec in Maroc) clients and promoting our activities and strategies in attracting corporate media clients.

Promoting our programs on training/rehabilitation of journalists specifically the marginalized/unemployed and fresh graduates.

MEDIA RELATIONSHIP OFFICER

Officer Location: Based in Rabat

Search for Common Ground works with Moroccan media/journals to transform the way people and institutions manage media coverage, and to develop a culture of respectable media in Morocco.

A media journalism insider, the successful candidate will be able to use MNM?s conventional techniques of increasing viewership/readership, such as platform reengineering, facilitation and connectivity, but also be able to plan and implement innovative techniques such as the use of media relations to generate mutually beneficial cooperation and interactive relationship with the readers/viewers and/or the different government parties involved. The simultaneous use of different methods is more efficient because it can have an impact at several levels of the target category.

MEDIA RESEARCH OFFICERS/ANALYSTS

Officer Location: Based in Rabat

? Coordinate and study of the perceptions of the public in coordination with partner organizations to identify the concerns and priorities of categories of people in the region through:

- Surveys with people at random in the street;

- Discussions with focus groups (universities, youth centers, associations, political parties and trade unions);

- Questionnaires on Facebook.

? Develop questionnaires and tools to measure to the baseline (baseline study) concerning the perception of people in the media, political and civic engagement;

? Develop guidelines and formats for the reporting of partner organizations, staff and volunteers;

? Provide training and guidance to staff and volunteers from partner organizations on M & E tools and project M & E techniques in general (building);

? Compile and analyze information based on indicators and targets as defined in the project document;

? Coordinate periodic reporting, ensuring the quality and quantity of information collected;

? Attend meetings with partner organizations, provide updates to assess the project?s progress, provide guidance and analysis vis-?-vis partner organizations.

? Create and maintain database on outputs, outcomes and results of projects;

? Coordinate and supervise all external evaluation;

Document and share best practices, lessons learned and other information relevant to the parties involved;

COMMUNITY RELATIONS OFFICERS

Officer Location: Based in any of the 7 cities mentioned below but willing to travel to any of them if required.

Objective:

1. To encourage marginalized urban journalists to participate in local governance/free-speech forums to bring about positive change in their own neighborhood or city, developing a sense of civic responsibility and inspire other journalists through competing in local social media on the Internet and traditional media (radio, TV).

2. Inform and educate young journalists on the principles and mechanisms of good journalism, citizenship, democracy and human rights in order to increase the levels of participation by young people;

3. Offer journalists the opportunity to contribute to local governance and constructively discuss their vision of good governance and priorities of elected officials in pre-set forums;

4. Create virtual and real spaces to discuss, learn and share information regarding positive citizenship, take on initiatives and national policies on issues affecting the population.

5. To design and implement community targeted programs to increase awareness of medical/social/ issues/threats and to create democratic/civilised forums in the community.

6. Responsible setting criteria and for the fair and diverse distribution of allocated funds for supporting local charities, schools, hospitals and NGOs .

Cities involved: Rabat, Casablanca, Agadir, Al Hoceima, Meknes, Safi, Marrakech

TRAINING OFFICERS

Officer Location: Based in Rabat, with frequent trips to the cities targeted by the project.

? Design, coordination, management, monitoring and post-fact evaluation of training project,

? Capable of working on methodologies Monitoring and Evaluation, preferably in the middle of youthful participation, capacity building or perceptions/feedback on the content;

? To select trainers/instructors/MCs as well as guests of honor relevant to objectives and content;

? Have the capacity to provide guidance and support to the Client Relations teams;

? Experience in creating and implementing methodologies followed and evaluation and the ability to assist in training people by these tools;

? Inform and educate young journalists on the principles and mechanisms of good journalism, citizenship, democracy and human rights in order to increase the quality of participation by young journalists;

? Offer journalists the opportunity to contribute to local governance and constructively discuss their vision of good journalism/media and priorities in pre-set forums;

SECRETARY/PERSONAL ASSISTANT

Location: Based in Rabat

? Interpersonal skills, Able to work confidentially with senior managers and VIPs and to establish and maintain professional relationships with their offices;

? Able to work independently and effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team;

? Care for details, organized and proactive;

? Able to complete multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines;

? Possibly travel (very exceptional) short duration missions (no overnights) within the 7 cities under our scope in central and southern Morocco.
