If you've been put off by the (arguably obtrusive) Special Offers on the Kindle Fire HD, Amazon has just announced that they will allow users to pay $15 to opt-out of the ads for the life of the device. An Amazon spokesperson wrote: We know from our Kindle reader line that customers love our special offers and very few people choose to opt out. We're happy to offer customers the choice.
