Today we bring you David Schaub -?Imageworks award-winning Animation Supervisor

David Schaub, an Academy Award? nominated animation supervisor at Sony Pictures Imageworks has worked in the animation and visual effects industry for more than 17 years.

He received an Oscar nomination for his work on Tim Burton?s Alice In Wonderland, along with nominations for a BAFTA Award, Saturn Award and Critic?s Choice Award, and won the Golden Satellite Award for Best Visual Effects for his work on the film.

He was an animator supervisor on the Academy Award? nominated The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe, Surf?s Up, The Amazing Spiderman and I Am Legend, as well as an animator on Stuart Little, Hollow Man, Stuart Little 2, Evolution, Cast Away, Godzilla, and Patch Adams.

Sony Pictures Imageworks, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, oversaw the visual effects for THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN. The untold story of Spider-Man, THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN, is set in a gritty, edgy urban world significantly created by the Sony Pictures Imageworks visual effects team. The VFX team established a visual style that naturally blends cutting edge live-action stunt work, extensive digital environments, and CG character animation.
